Venue Spotlight:
Eureka! Science + Discovery

Eureka! Science + Discovery, which opened in late 2022, is the second Eureka! attraction in the UK and is already an award-winning destination!

Designed with and for children aged 0-14, it shares the Eureka! mission to engage children from birth to 14 in a range of play-based learning experiences which facilitate their emotional, intellectual, physical, social and creative development.

Eureka! Science + Discovery does this through inspiring curiosity and confidence in STEAM, encouraging young people to see themselves as scientists, engineers, artists and inventors – not just in the future, but right now.

The galleries and programmes were created through a 3-year period of co-creation with over 300 local children and young people, a cohort of regional industry and academic experts and the Eureka! team, resulting in 3 main galleries – Bodies, Homes, Nature, a specific Under 7’s zone The Burrow, an 80-seat Science Theatre and our making and tinkering space MakeCreate.

Positioned in an area of cultural and social deprivation, the centre is a celebration of creativity, community, and collaboration – values that are at the heart of everything at Eureka!, and recognised through the recent Visit England regional award in Inclusive and Accessible Tourism.

Experience the iconic ‘Ferry Cross the Mersey’ to Eureka! Science + Discovery on Day 2 of the conference programme (Nov 27).

Sessions will be held in the galleries, and delegates will get the opportunity to enjoy the exhibitions at the post conference stay-&-play social event.
